Hi M,

How did you sleep? What are you planning on doing during the day? What pretty clothes will you be wearing? Is this a bow day? Saw your dad last evening. He helped me move a few pieces of office furniture. (Helps having a strong guy around.) Enjoy the day. (Be sure to giggle a lot.)

Ps[141-145] Thought – M, you may wonder why the five Ps? Somebody told me a long time ago that reading 5 Ps a day would get you through Ps once a month. Do that for a long time and you know God fairly well. So your grandpa just looks in these chapters and finds something he wants to say to you. (Or something that reminds me of a story.) It’s kind of fun. When you call (or cry) we come pretty quickly. We want to make sure you have everything you need and our undivided attention. [From Ps141:1]

Pr29 Thought – You may wonder why a Pr each day? Somebody told me a long time ago that reading a Pr a day would get you through Pr most months. Do that for a long time and you get along with others fairly well. (Not all the time, but most.) Singing and being glad (happy, giggling) is good. [From Pr29:6]

Mt and Ac Thought – M, as you get a little older you will notice there is not a shortage of thoughts about Jesus or churches. Where should you go? A “Jesus” church is good. (A place where you can hear, learn and sing about Him.) What is a church suppose to do? Just figured a long time ago that reading a chapter of Mt and Ac each day would get you (and me) through both once a month. Do that for a long time and we know what Jesus would do and a church is suppose to be like fairly well. (By the way you’ll notice Mt and Ac do not have 29 chapters. So we just think about Ps and Pr on these days.)

One day all of that will make sense. It gives me a great way to tell you “I love you” and to pass along some stories and stuff of value.

Love you a lot little girl,

gc
